| News Mark's latest commission, Bronze Sycamore Seed, was installed in the grounds of his client's property in Cambridgeshire at the end of November 2010. At over 7 feet high and weighing around1/3 tonne, the sculpture was angled at its' underground concrete base as if it had spiralled from the sky and come to rest naturally on the ground. The project took a year to come to fruition and involved a large team of specialists. The sculpture was cast in bronze by the Zahra Modern Art Foundries. The interest in Mark's sculptures continues to grow and he has been invited to develop a Solo exhibition at the Bedford Street Gallery in Woburn, Bedfordshire. He has also been invited to exhibit again at Woburn Abbey, part of ArtBeat 2011, from April until the end of July. Mark's interest in and love of organic and abstracted forms will continue to be the focal point for his new works. This year will see him concentrating on new concepts for outdoor sculptures and new indoor sculptures in marble, alabaster and limestone.
